Condor gunner plate carrier review

The condor gunner plate carrier is a great start for preppers as it is not super expensive. For a professional security agent or soldier I would not recommend it, but from a prepared civilian standpoint I like it so far.

Features I like (and non features I don’t like)

This plate carrier fits well, and seems to have a pretty good stitch quality based on my relatively limited use. I do use it pretty rough when I have used it out in the desert though. If I could find a major downside with this product, it is that it is not easy to take on or off. Definitely not a quick release carrier. Which can be a downside for many reasons, with one being convenience and two of course having to be cut off if treating a wound under the carrier. It does however fit 10×12 ceramic plates very well, as a basic plate carrier should of course. This carrier doesn’t come with side plate pouches/sleeves, which is unfortunate but those are usually not too expensive. Definitely always get products with good stitching and good nylon. This carrier of course also has MOLLE webbing and Velcro for attaching gear with modular flexibility.

Price/Value

For the price I would say it is a good value carrier given Condor’s relatively good reputation for what they make: Non professional gear, but gear that works for the prepared civilian.

I bought this carrier on ebay, but it can be found on various other online marketplaces. Thanks for reading and have a nice day, and here are some affiliate links to products I like. (on amazon.com)
It is no extra cost to you to purchase gear from these links, and it helps keep the server running for the blog. Thank you!
